The project focused on the dissemination of scientific and technology-based solutions for integrated vegetable cultivation and post harvest management technology. The programme aimed to adopt scientific packages of practices by helping 500 small and marginal and women farmers in block Ramkola,district Kushinagar.

- Demo of scientific packages of practices at farm level like low tunnel poly house, vermi composting, INM and IPM
- Varietal evaluation and replacement of old varieties of vegetable crops.
- Onion farming in Kharif season
- Convergence with Govt Horticultural schemes.

- Scientific packages of practices reduced 25-40% cost of cultivation..
- Nursery within low tunnel polyhouse ensured plant survival by 95 percent.
- The extension and dissemination services through 43 community institutions like Agro Services Centre (ASC), Farmer Field School (FFS) and Producer Groups have played critical role in scaling up the technologies and high yielding varieties of vegetables.
- Reduced the post harvest losses of perishable vegetable crops by adopting primary post harvest technologies..
- 540 small and marginal and women farmers increased their income by 25-40%
